OUR TEAM

An alumnus of The Roxbury Latin School and the University of Virginia, Dan began his career in strategy consulting for boutique firms in Boston, with a dual focus on profit improvement and due diligence for middle-market private equity transactions. His first multi-family purchase in 2005 awakened a genuine passion for real estate, leading to a full-time pivot into real estate acquisitions just two years later.

Shortly thereafter, in 2008, Dan founded Cougar Capital Management, Inc., a Property Management and Construction Management firm. Since then, Cougar Capital has scaled to provide services to more than 1,000 apartments and commercial units in MA, RI, CT, NH, VT, PA, ME, and FL, all acquired personally and via syndications. Today, with over two decades of private real estate investment experience, Dan remains focused on the strategic growth of Cougar Capital's portfolio of senior housing and multi-family assets, which now total greater than 1,800 units across eight states.
In Massachusetts, Dan holds an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License. He is also a registered Home Improvement Contractor, a Moderate Risk Deleader, and a licensed Real Estate Broker. In his spare time, Dan is an active member of Habitat for Humanity and tutors local GMAT students for Manhattan Review.
